{"id":28658,"date":"2023-02-17T11:00:53","date_gmt":"2023-02-17T10:00:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.italiaendurance.it\/a-costanza-laliscia-la-bandiera-dellumbria-da-portare-alta-nel-mondo\/"},"modified":"2023-02-17T11:08:27","modified_gmt":"2023-02-17T10:08:27","slug":"a-costanza-laliscia-la-bandiera-dellumbria-da-portare-alta-nel-mondo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.italiaendurance.it\/en\/a-costanza-laliscia-la-bandiera-dellumbria-da-portare-alta-nel-mondo\/","title":{"rendered":"To Costanza Laliscia the flag of Umbria to be carried high around the world"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Wednesday 15 February Costanza Laliscia, the leading young rider of our stable, was received at Palazzo Donini by the President of the Umbria Region Donatella Tesei and by the President of the Regional Council Marco Squarta for the delivery of the Flag of Umbria, reserved for outstanding sportsmen in their discipline and carry the name of Umbria high in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Costanza, at just 23 years of age, boasts a rare palmar\u00e8s, full of titles, honors and awards including 8 Italian titles, a European title, the victory of the FEI Endurance Young Riders World Ranking in 2016 and 2019 and the conferment of the silver medal for athletic value by CONI president Giovanni Malag\u00f2.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe excellent results obtained by Costanza Laliscia riding her Arabian thoroughbreds are many. Today I thanked her \u2013 said the president Tesei \u2013 for the pride that she represents and, as usual, awarded with the flag of our Region, so that it can accompany and support her in these new important competitions\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>To Costanza Laliscia, therefore, the warmest congratulations from President Tesei for all her successes and the delivery of the Flag of Umbria as a symbolic act of recognition and good omen in view of important trials and competitions that the young champion will return to face in a few weeks: on February 25th she will in fact participate in the World Endurance Championships which will be held in Boutheeb, in the United Arab Emirates, over a distance of 160 km, wearing the shirt of the Italian national team for the eighth time in her career, a real record.<\/p>\n<p>The journey of the rider of Perugian will then continue to AlUla, in the Saudi Arabian desert, where on March 4th she will participate in the prestigious international Fursan Cup 2023 race: 120 km immersed in breathtaking landscapes and scenery.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am very close to my land and being able to bring the colors of Umbria with me around the world \u2013 comments our Costanza \u2013 makes me very proud.
