On August 29th, beneath the wooden beams of our barn—transformed for one evening into an intimate and atmospheric cinema—we experienced something truly special. The exclusive premiere of “Beyond the Finish Line” was screened: a docu-film directed by Andrea Miglio, born from the desire to tell the story of endurance riding in a new, profound, and authentic way.
This is not merely a short film about sport. It is a journey into the invisible bond between horse and rider—a relationship built on silence, patience, and trust. A story that unfolds along the 160 kilometers of the Zigulì FEI Endurance European Championship 2025, yet goes far beyond the competition itself. Because, as heard in the film, “You don’t win against someone. You win with someone.”
A simple statement, yet one that captures the very essence of what endurance truly means to those who live it every day: shared effort, sacrifice, and mutual respect.
Every frame of the film conveys truth. The truth of fatigue, of preparation, of the deep symbiosis between rider and horse. The audience—one hundred carefully selected guests—watched in silence, captivated and moved. And when the final credits rolled, the applause was long, heartfelt, and filled with emotion.
But the evening did not end there. After the screening, guests gathered in the stable’s reception areas for an informal buffet, where genuine flavors and warm smiles were shared. Later, under a clear, star-filled sky, the atmosphere came alive with a DJ set: music, laughter, embraces, and conversations that flow naturally when people share the same vision.
“Beyond the Finish Line” has already been selected for several international film festivals and will soon be available on official FEI platforms. We are proud to have given voice to this project here, at home, in front of those who contribute every day to making endurance not just a sport, but a living, collective experience.
It was an evening we will not forget — a small yet significant event that managed to tell the story of a world that deserves to be known in all its beauty.
