Fuxiateam Orofiock also left its mark on Italy’s fourth-place finish at the FEI Endurance World Championship for Young Horses 2026, held in Barroca d’Alva last Friday. Making an important contribution to the Italian team’s result were Costanza Laliscia with Ines de Callupolo and Federico Valeri with Cursor Agylla, protagonists of a race conducted with careful management of the horses over a highly technical 120-kilometre course, made even more selective by the hot and humid conditions.
Laliscia and Ines de Callupolo were the first Italian pair to cross the finish line, completing the World Championship in 27th place at an average speed of 19.08 km/h. Shortly afterwards came her stablemate, Federico Valeri, who with Cursor Agylla claimed 33rd place at an average speed of 18.56 km/h. Two individual performances that contributed to Italy’s overall result, with the team managing to bring four of the five pairs that started to the finish line and securing fourth place in the nations’ ranking.
“I am very satisfied with the result,” said Costanza Laliscia, “both personally and for the Italian team, and of course for Fuxiateam Orofiock. We had brought two horses to the competition that were raised by us, and one of the two, our stallion Cursor Agylla, was born right here at our stables. Seeing them achieve such an important result, after raising them and believing in them since they were young, was a great satisfaction. The race was very technical, competitive and difficult, both because of the course and the weather conditions. This makes the result achieved even more important. Competing on an international stage of this level always brings great emotion, and being able to experience it while achieving such an important result is an even greater satisfaction.”
In Barroca d’Alva, 109 pairs started and 56 completed the 120-kilometre race. Ahead of Team Italy — which completed the competition with an overall time of 19 hours, 32 minutes and 29 seconds — in the team ranking were the United Arab Emirates, France and Spain.
Completing the competition for the Italian team were Giulia Bonomi with Furia Buia, 40th, and Chiara Salvadori with Emoszjonante, 41st. Also in 41st place in the competition for the individual title only was Serena Sereni riding Delipszjo.
For Fuxiateam Orofiock of Italia Endurance Stables & Academy in Agello di Magione, the Portuguese World Championship therefore ended with two individual placings and with the satisfaction of having made a concrete contribution to Italy’s fourth-place finish in one of the most demanding competitions on the 2026 international calendar.
