Another outstanding performance from Costanza Laliscia, who claimed a commanding victory in the CEI2* 120 km in Abbasanta, in the heart of Sardinia, riding Kasimir dell’Orsetta. The young champion from Umbria, born in 1999 and representing Italia Endurance Stables & Academy, once again demonstrated maturity, strategy, and determination, leading the ride from the very first kilometer and breaking away solo as early as the second loop. A flawless race strategy brought her across the finish line in first place, with an average speed of 17.646 km/h.
A true display of strength and character, crowned not only by the overall win but also by the awarding of the prestigious Best Condition prize to Kasimir dell’Orsetta. The horse stood out for its exceptional physical form, highlighted by extremely fast heart rate recoveries and a spotless veterinary report – details that rounded off a textbook performance.
Trailing Costanza, two Sardinian riders completed an all-female and homegrown podium: Marica Anna Marras in second place and Bianca Mattera in third, proving the quality of local athletes and the deep roots of Endurance in the region.
Thanks to this success, Kasimir dell’Orsetta qualifies for the Coppa Italia final, while the Laliscia -Kasimir combination solidifies their qualification for the Zigulì FEI Endurance European Championship 2025, to be held in Castiglione del Lago on June 21.
“We’re absolutely thrilled with this result,” said Costanza Laliscia. “Kasimir dell’Orsetta was simply perfect. I want to sincerely thank Nicolò Trotta, the horse’s owner, for the trust he continues to place in us, and my entire Fuxiateam, who worked flawlessly to make this beautiful day possible. This victory belongs to all of us.”
But there won’t be much time to celebrate: Costanza Laliscia and the Fuxiateam are already looking ahead to a new international challenge next weekend in Valencia, Spain, where they’ll compete in another major event on the European circuit.
