Ego Agylla, crowned best “5-year-old in Italy”

A weekend to remember for the Fuxiateam. In Marina di Pisa, the combination formed by Federico Valeri and Ego Agylla dominated the CEN A 42 km, taking first place overall. A result that also secured them the FISE Italian Cup for 5-year-olds, the MASAF 5-Year-Old Circuit (an initiative promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests), and the ANICA CEN A Final, organized by the Italian National Arabian Horse Association — completing a perfect season.

A full and well-deserved success that crowns Ego Agylla as the best 5-year-old purebred Arabian in Italy, at the end of an impeccable race marked by record heart recovery times of 50 and 39 seconds, clear evidence of his exceptional endurance and perfect psycho-physical balance.

The result in Marina di Pisa comes as the culmination of a season managed with intelligence and consistency. Before the final, Ego Agylla had already stood out in the Città della Pieve leg (2nd place) and in Torgnon (overall victory), confirming a steady technical and athletic progression that led him to the national top.

Behind this sporting success lies a long-term vision. Ego Agylla is the product of the sistemaeventi.it breeding program, an Umbrian enterprise that has long pursued a genetic selection project based on thoughtful choices and a deep understanding of bloodlines. Each foal is born from a meticulous study of the morphological and metabolic characteristics of its parents — nothing is left to chance.

In Ego Agylla’s case, his dam Antares de Pattada belongs to a solid Italian line of Sardinian origin, appreciated for its hardiness, balance, and structural strength. His sire, Falcon du Barthas, represents one of the finest French lines, selected for elegance, biomechanical quality, and exceptional cardiac recovery. It is precisely from him that Ego Agylla inherits his unique recovery capacity, combined with a calm temperament that enhances his manageability during competition.

Ego’s growth has been entirely overseen at Italia Endurance Stables & Academy, through daily dedication and care, until finding in Federico Valeri the ideal partner to fully express his potential. The young rider has been able to interpret the horse’s qualities with sensitivity and intelligence, managing the ride with precision and maturity.

The victory in Marina di Pisa represents more than a title: it is confirmation that the Fuxiateam philosophy works. From genetic selection to training, from breeding to competition, every step of the process is guided by a single vision — to raise horses that are both well-prepared and deeply cared for.

The success of Ego Agylla tells the story of a distinctly Umbrian model built on method, passion, and vision — a path that blends tradition and innovation, where every detail becomes part of a greater project.
