A performance of high technical and sporting level marked the return from Šamorín, where the Fuxiateam distinguished itself in the CEI3* 160 km with a result of major international significance.
The absolute protagonist of the competition was Costanza Laliscia who, riding Emirat du Barthas, secured victory with more than thirty minutes’ advantage over the second-place finisher. A race managed with intelligence and precision, completed at an average speed of 17.94 km/h, with the best recovery times and the fastest final loop in the category.
The course, structured over five loops, presented a significant level of difficulty from the outset, with the first three loops particularly long and selective. A configuration that required careful energy management and a well-defined strategy from the very early stages.
“It was a race to be interpreted with great attention,” commented Costanza. “The first three loops were very long and absolutely not to be underestimated. We followed the plan we had set, without forcing, allowing everything to build progressively. The team worked impeccably, exactly as we had planned.”
A victory that goes beyond the single result and tells the story of a shared growth path. The one in Šamorín in fact represents the fifth 160 km completed together by Costanza and Emirat du Barthas, consolidating an increasingly solid partnership between horse and rider.
“Emirat has been an important confirmation,” Laliscia continues. “Our approach remains the same: to look ahead, to continue growing and, above all, to experience all of this with the right spirit. First and foremost, we want to enjoy it and build our path race after race.”
Alongside the satisfaction for the victory, there remains regret for the elimination of Greta Bistoletti with Kasimir dell’Orsetta, stopped for lameness at the third loop. A correct decision in respect of the horse’s health, which does not diminish the value of the combination’s journey and leaves room for a prompt return in the upcoming competitions.
The Šamorín trip once again confirms the value of teamwork: from preparation to race management, through to constant support even from home. An organized and cohesive system, capable of facing high-level competitions with method and continuity.
The team now looks ahead to upcoming engagements with renewed determination, strengthened by the results achieved and the solidity of the path undertaken.
