Spring Pony 2026 once again renews its most beautiful message: equestrian endurance can be an extraordinary experience of growth, friendship and discovery for the new generations.
On Saturday, May 23, the facilities of Italia Endurance Stables & Academy were transformed into a vibrant stage dedicated to young riders during Spring Pony 2026, the event that brought together children and teenagers from Umbria, Tuscany and Liguria for a day of sport, nature and shared passion.
Amid smiles, adrenaline and excitement, the true stars of the event were the children together with their ponies, competing in the different pony endurance categories: from the 1.6 km Pony Beginners class, to the 3.2 km Pony A, the 6.4 km Pony B and finally the prestigious 8 km Pony Elite category. The course, designed as a technical loop immersed in the green Umbrian countryside, offered participants an authentic experience in close contact with nature, while also enhancing the local territory and equestrian culture.
On Saturday afternoon, following the veterinary inspections and technical briefing, each young athlete faced the competition with enthusiasm and concentration, supported by families, instructors and the organizational staff. As always, special attention was devoted to animal welfare: veterinary checks, course safety and respect for each pony’s pace represented the very heart of the event, fully reflecting the educational philosophy of Spring Pony.
But the event went far beyond competition itself. Spring Pony 2026 once again proved to be a sporting and educational project capable of promoting values such as responsibility, teamwork, respect and collaboration, transforming competition into an opportunity for personal growth for every participant.
The event also enjoyed strong public participation, with families and visitors actively involved throughout the convivial moments of the day.
The prize-giving ceremony brought the event to a close with applause and excitement for all the young riders: symbolic awards for every participant and trophies for the top-ranked athletes in each category, all within a joyful and shared atmosphere.
Among the most exciting moments of the day were the outstanding performances achieved by the young talents of Italia Endurance Academy, who stood out in the different competition categories and brought great satisfaction to both the public and the technical staff.
In the prestigious 8 km Pony Elite category, the podium was entirely dominated by the little riders of the Fuxiateam. Ginevra Marzia riding Al Sarfah Du Barthas claimed victory with an impeccable performance marked by technique, determination and perfect harmony with the pony. She was followed by Vittoria Monetti riding Ringo in second place, while Aurora Laurenzi aboard Salida completed the remarkable podium finish.
Another excellent result came in the 6.4 km Pony B category, where Costanza Monetti riding Chrisliso’s Tuschinska earned a well-deserved third place, standing out for her concentration and consistency throughout the course. In the same category, an excellent sixth place was also achieved by Giulia Nocito riding the pony Chrisliso’s Tuschinska.
Success also arrived in the Pony Beginners category, dedicated to the youngest riders and first experiences in competition: Giada Rossi riding Sirio secured first place, while Luce Fondacci riding Ringo achieved an impressive second place, confirming enthusiasm, talent and promising sporting growth.
Spring Pony 2026 once again reaffirmed its truest message: pony endurance is not just a sport, but an extraordinary educational experience capable of bringing together children, animals and territory through one great shared passion.
