The full immersion stage THEORY AND PRACTICE OF MODERN ENDURANCE ended on Sunday. At Italia Endurance Academy were intense days, but also full of emotions. The eight students, coming from Emilia Romagna, Lombardy, Lazio, Liguria and Umbria, dealt with different activities, practical and theoretical section, for a total of 18 hours of training. The riders arrived on Friday October 2, immediately got on the saddle to carry out a first work in the field due to test their levels as well. Then they participated in a theoretical lesson on Teamwork and Fair Play. Saturday morning they began with a three-hour training in different altitude, where the students demonstrated their skills and thanks to the advice of the coaches, they were able to improve their skills. In the afternoon, there was a lesson on the presentation, morphology and programming of the training of the Endurance horse. A day in which the riders were able to both improve their skills in the saddle and learn much more about the horse from a theoretical point of view. Finally, on Sunday morning the riders went to the All-Weather track for a gallop work and after that they simulated the Vet Gate. The conclusion of these training days was in the classroom, where in the presence not only of all the coaches, but also of the President of FISE Umbria Mirella Bianconi and of the President of Italia Endurance ASD, Simona Zucchetta, the riders spoke with enthusiasm about the experience just lived and finally received the certificate of participation. We can define this three-day experience as complete, not only for the large number of activities proposed by the Stage, but also for the high technical competence of the coaches and experts in the sectore that were at their disposition. All the riders went back home with unforgettable memories of these full immersion days, and they said that it will make them better riders.
